We start very early, at 4:30 a.m., picking up the participants at their hotel in Cusco. From there, we will travel by car to the village of Ocongate, passing through the picturesque villages of the southern valley such as Huaro, Piquillacta and Andahuaylillas. Then, we will head to the community of Tinki, where we will have a brief period of time to do some essential purchases, as it is the last place where these purchases can be made.
When we arrive at the camp in Tinke, our team of muleteers and support staff will be ready to welcome us with a delicious breakfast. We will continue our trekking to the next camp in the community of Upis. The trail is located at the foot of the Ausangate mountain, offering privileged views during the hike. Along the way, we will also be able to observe herds of llamas and herds of llamas and alpacas grazing freely, and we will make a few stops to take pictures with these impressive animals.
Once in Upis, we will enjoy a lunch prepared at the camp and take the opportunity to relax while drinking hot beverages. In the afternoon, we will visit one of the first lagoons that we will see during the 5-day trek, known as Huayna Ausangate. In this beautiful place, we will enjoy the sunset sunset and take some pictures to capture the moment.
We will wake up early to enjoy an energetic breakfast. After preparing our backpacks and getting the horses ready, we will take the trail that surrounds the Ausangate glacier. In this stage, we will walk uphill until we reach the Arapa pass at 4,800 meters above sea level, from where we will be able to contemplate the mountainous landscape and the lakes formed by the melting of the glacier.
Once in the Arapa pass, we will start the descent to the Yanacocha lake, also known as the black lake. During the descent, we will keep our eyes open to observe the wildlife of the area. it is likely that we will see chinchillas or vizcachas, and occasionally deer or vicuñas, although the latter requires a bit of luck. It is also possible to see an Andean condor, the largest flying bird in the world, so it is advisable to be alert to any movement in the landscape.
Upon arrival at our campsite, located near the Hatun Puca Cocha lake, we will enjoy lunch and experience the tranquility of these impressive Andean landscapes. After the afternoon, weather permitting, we will have the opportunity to observe the stars in all their splendor. the opportunity to observe the stars in all their splendor. On the third day, we will start with a hearty breakfast to recharge our energies, as this will be the most challenging day of our trek. After breakfast, we will ascend for 2 hours and a half to the Ausangate pass, located at 4,750 meters above sea level. From this point, the panorama is impressive and vast, making you feel small before the grandeur of the landscape. Afterwards, we will begin our descent to the Ausangate Cocha lake, where we will enjoy lunch in a spectacular setting between the mountain and the lake. After a short rest, we will continue our ascent to the Palomani pass, at 5,200 meters above sea level, which will be the highest point of our adventure. At the summit, we will take a short break to admire the landscape before continuing on.
After our break, we will descend along a trail to the community of Huchuy Finaya, located at 4,650 meters above sea level. This community preserves many ancestral traditions since Inca times. We will make a small offering to the mountain with the villagers in gratitude to the Pachamama for allowing us to walk through their lands.
Finally, we will advance through a less demanding terrain until we arrive at Sorapata, where our camp will be waiting for us. There, we will be able to relax with hot drinks and rest after an intense day of hiking.
As usual, we will start early in the morning. After breakfast, we will start a hike of about 3 hours to the Jampa pass. As we advance, the trail becomes steeper, so the ascent will be gradual. During the hike, we will have a spectacular view of the Callangate glacier, the second highest snow-capped mountain south of Cusco after Ausangate. Along the way, we will again see herds of llamas and alpacas grazing freely on the the hills. Arriving at the Jampa pass we will begin our descent, crossing part of the seven most famous lakes of the Vilcanota mountain range.
Each lake has a distinctive name according to its characteristics. We will have lunch in a mountainous environment and then we will arrive at a viewpoint that offers a panoramic view of these turquoise lakes. We will continue walking for an additional 2 hours until we reach the community of Pacchanta. There we will leave our backpacks and enjoy the hot springs and medicinal thermal waters of the place. We will celebrate having the completion of the trek around Ausangate and relax as much as we need, at the end of the day we will have dinner and spend the night in Pacchanta.
After a 3 hour hike back to Tinqui, we will have time to explore this picturesque Andean village. Afterwards, we will take our private transportation to return to Cusco, with an estimated arrival around 6:00 p.m., marking the end of our tour.

POLICIES AND CONDITIONS
Deposits
In order to guarantee any of the services confirmed by the clients who acquired a tourist package, it will be indispensable at least a percentage 40% of the total value of the plan. When making the deposit or payment to guarantee any reservation, the client or Agency declares that he/she knows the conditions of the contracted services and accepts the Hotels, Transportation, etc. registered in this confirmation and that nothing should be understood as included if it is not clearly described in the confirmation of contracted services.
Does not include Tax of 18% only in Peruvian tourist (if passenger requires invoice).
TOTAL PAYMENT:
The outstanding balance must be paid upon arrival in Cusco or before the start of the services.
Failure to pay the outstanding balance will make it impossible to participate in the contracted services (in no case will the company make any refund of the initial payment).
THE PAYMENT WILL BE IN CASH FOR THE PENDING BALANCE or in the last case by bank transfer.
Commissions: All means of payment generate commissions, which vary depending on the method of payment except with credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Diners Club plus 6%) and through PayPal plus 6%. Therefore, it is important to emphasize that it is the client who will assume the costs of the same.
Modifications of ITINERARIES by the client:
Any type of modification by the client generates penalties which will be assumed by the client (promotional rates cannot be modified, no refunds are allowed).
It is important to emphasize that with respect to the Bus tickets CONSETUR, TRAIN TICKETS and MACHUPICCHU ENTRANCE, no modification is allowed for any reason. The change of ownership of the service is also not allowed.
PENALTIES.
NO SHOW. When the user of the tourist services does not show up or does not use the agreed services, MISKI KILLA TRAVEL will charge the following values:
Hotels: 100% of the total value of the unused nights will be charged.
CANCELLATION OR CHANGE OF RESERVATION DUE TO JUSTIFIED FORCE MAJEURE.
When the client or users cancel their trip due to justified illness or death of any of the travelers, it must be with at least one hundred and sixty eight (168) hours prior to the travel date, the request will only be considered if the supports that justify the cancellation are received: (a) Medical incapacity of the EPS, death certificate, etc. Once the supports are received, the exoneration or liquidation of penalties or differences caused by date changes will be processed before the service providers.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- Insurance: Miski Killa Travel strongly recommends that the Client purchase adequate travel insurance to cover cancellations, delays, medical expenses, emergencies, interruptions due to unforeseen circumstances, any loss or damage to personal belongings or equipment that may occur in connection with a Trip. Customer acknowledges that Customer is responsible for all loss or damage suffered by Customer, except as expressly provided in these Terms.
- Risk: Client acknowledges that the Trips are adventurous and inherently involve a certain amount of personal risk, especially the Treks. The Client accepts responsibility for all risks associated with a Trip and agrees not to sue or hold Miski Killa Travel or any of its employees liable in any way for any loss, damage or injury suffered by a Client in connection with a Trip.
- Preparation: The Client acknowledges that, while Miski Killa Travel will act in good faith to assist the Client during the Trip, it is the sole responsibility of the Client to ensure that he or she is adequately prepared for the Trip with the correct equipment and any special medical or dietary treatment. requirements that he or she may require.
- Passport Validity: The Client must ensure that his/her passport is valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Peru. This is a requirement of the Peruvian government, and failure to do so may result in the denial of permission to enter the country.
- Visa to visit Peru: It is the Client's responsibility to ensure that he/she arranges and complies with visa requirements, if any, required for entry and stay in Peru.
